I am interested in hosting a dedicated server for North America like the russian one but i cant seem to figure any of it out. does anyone know of a guide that can help me get one going?

Hello there!
It depends if you want to host it publicly or not.
I assume you want a public one. Then, you would need a Windows machine with an open 18590 UDP port. Install Nox on that machine and start the game as usual, select Westwood Online and Host.
There is also an alternative (advanced) variant using OpenNox Docker image.

Well i am wondering how does it host on xwis but does not show in the noxmanager which exposes the ip address and also if it uses a baremetal server or a vps and if a vps then how does it run without being in super speed. when i host on a vps and join the running speed is way faster than normal.

Like i want it to be public on xwis but i do not want it to show on the noxmanager exposing the ip address which is how the 1:noxworld.ru server is setup.

I just switched to a bare-metal server and i discovered that i can host normally (not "serveronly" or "headless") and when i join it does run normal where as before with a VPS it actually ran with extreme lag when hosting normally.
But hosting as serveronly/true headless still causes the server to run in super speed on my bare-metal server

Using -serveronly is discouraged since it also seemingly activates -nolimit which in turn disables the 30 FPS/TPS lock present in the game.
Which executable you are using for hosting? NoxPatched or OpenNox?

ah ok so -serveronly is just no good. i am using the noxpatched i think. i use noxreloaded.exe with the solution.exe and then i drop cnc-ddraw into the folder.

i run noxreloaded.exe to run the game and host.
